what is the easiest way to get forclosures info on realestate?

February 11th, 2010 | by admin |

i want to buy a house and i always here about people get a good deal cause they bought a forclosure house. how do i get that info.

Depends on where you are looking? If you want to stay in your local area the best place to go is the county clerks office or your county real estate office. There is where they will have all the public notices.

One of the best ways is by using a Realtor. Realtors usually have access to two databases, one is called FMLS and another is GA MLS. In those databases are homes thruoughout Georgia that are for sale, including foreclosures. I am a Realtor myself and I’d be glad to assist you in your search if you’d like. If not, just find a Realtor in your area and they can get the information quite easily.

The courthouse where you live should have records of all foreclosures.

Buying a foreclosure is not as easy as you may think. Financial institutions will not always lend money for foreclosures(most don’t). You usually need to have the entire purchase price of the home on hand when you buy the house.
